
Dr. Marius Commodore
Dr. Marius Commodore, MD, medical advisor to Nurx, is a psychiatrist and internal medicine physician and Medical Director for Campus Health at Tulane University. Dr. Commodore’s primary focus is the interaction of medical and psychiatric illness, and he develops educational programs for medical providers and enjoys creating clinical initiatives & cross functional teams which allow patients to obtain care across both domains of health. He has received awards for his education of medical trainees and for his service to the institutions he has served.
Born in the Nature Island of Dominica and raised in Antigua, Dr. Commodore obtained his medical degree at Emory University in Atlanta, and completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, in a combined Internal Medicine & Psychiatry program. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine & Psychiatry, and a member of the Association of Medicine & Psychiatry and the American College of Physicians. He has an almost unhealthy interest in science fiction novels. He lives in New Orleans with his wife and son.
