My PrEp Experience with Nurx
With Nurx I was very open, but, honestly, wasn’t sure what to expect
And actually I found the intake process to be considerably easy.
There was very little I had to upload. I just had to get a good picture of my insurance card.
But other than that, it was a very simple process of just answering a few questions and getting the help I needed in a very short period of time.
A lot of people that are interested in PrEP are being denied. Either because their doctor doesn’t know, or they are being very judgmental, or their basing on morality instead of medicine.
What I appreciated about Nurx was knowing that, whomever I was going to speak with, whether it was the doctor herself or one of the navigators, was that I was going to be getting information from someone who is knowledgable. Someone who is competent. Somebody who is familiar with the CDC protocol, and would follow that protocol. And provide me with the care that will help me stay healthy and empowered.
