Metronidazole cream 0.75%

If prescribed, you will use metronidazole cream topically. It is important to continue the medication as directed by your provider, even if your symptoms go away.

It is important to discuss your health history as well as your current medications and supplements with your Nurx provider before beginning an antibiotic.

As with all medications, some side effects are possible with metronidazole cream. The most common are skin redness, and itching, skin irritation and stinging, headache, localized allergy, and upper respiratory tract infection.

Metronidazole cream 0.75% is generally a safe antibiotic that you can take with most medications. However, it is important to always discuss your current medication usage with your Nurx provider as some medications or supplements can interact with metronidazole cream 0.75%. You should also avoid disulfiram medications when taking metronidazole cream 0.75%.

Do not use metronidazole gel if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive.

Consultation
Anyone who requests rosacea treatment will be charged a $40 consultation fee. Please note that at this time, we do not submit claims to insurance for the medical consult fee.

Medication
For those paying with insurance:
We will bill your insurance directly for your medication and the price to you will depend on the specifics of your plan. Please connect with your insurance company if you would like to learn more about your copay.

For those paying without insurance:
Medications start at $30/month for prescription topical medication and $20-40/month for prescription oral treatments.

Support Fee
Nurx will charge a flat $3 support fee each month one or more of your orders are processed. This fee covers your unlimited, on-demand access to our customer care team as well as certain processing fees. This fee will only be charged once in any month, even if you have multiple orders processed that month. This fee applies whether the order is filled through Nurx or at your local pharmacy. If your order is filled via Nurx, the support fee is billed at the time of fulfillment. If your prescription is sent to a local pharmacy, a support fee will be applied at that time. In the future, the support fee will be applied on a cadence that matches your medication refill cadence.
