If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember—unless it’s almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip it and take your next scheduled dose. Your provider may start you on a low dose of this medication and gradually increase your dose.

Patients should be aware that they may experience increased heart rate while taking desvenlafaxine ER, especially when they are beginning a new prescription. This fee covers a Nurx provider evaluating your intake assessment and creating and prescribing your treatment plan, if medically appropriate. Please note that at this time, we do not submit claims to insurance for the initial medical consult fee or the ongoing medication management fee.

Medication
For those paying with insurance: We will bill your insurance directly for your medication and the price to you will depend on the specifics of your plan. Please connect with your insurance company if you would like to learn more about your copay.

For those paying without insurance: Medications start at $25/month.

Monthly medication management
If you receive mental health treatment from Nurx, you will pay a recurring monthly $69 medication management fee. This fee covers a Nurx provider managing your medication needs (including any adjustments) on an ongoing basis. This fee also covers your unlimited messaging with our medical team about your treatment.
