If you believe you may have bacterial vaginosis, request treatment by completing a health evaluation. We prescribe bacterial vaginosis treatment to patients 18 and up.
While metronidazole and clindamycin are generally considered safe medications, they may not be a good fit for certain individuals. Please inform your medical provider if you have had an allergic reaction to metronidazole, clindamycin, or other antibiotic medications in the past, or have heart disease, kidney, or liver problems. You should avoid drinking alcohol while using Metronidazole.
