The law requires that every person who receives a prescription from Nurx has their own account that contains their own information (health, ID, and communication preferences). Even if your daughter is a minor, she must have control over her account and have direct access to communications from our medical providers, though you can help your daughter manage her account. This also applies to phone communication with the Nurx customer care team.
To be considered for a birth control prescription, your daughter must be at least 13 years of age, though laws in some states require that a patient be older in order to receive service from Nurx.
